How to make coffee in a coffee maker

There are various ways of coffee put. Below are a few steps to make really good coffee. If you do not have coffee yourself, do not immediately stress: because you can also enjoy a cup of coffee by putting a filter on a mug, by using a plunger coffee or tea with a mug and a tea towel.

Filter set with coffee

We begin with a general rule: For every cup of coffee you need about 180 ml of water.

  • Do filter or bottled water in the reservoir. You can water you need for your coffee measure with a coffee or a measuring cup. If dashes are present on the device, you can also use these lines to read in order coffee.

Tip: Use filtered or bottled water.

  • Use a paper filter and put it in the filter holder. This is not always necessary: some devices have a filter basket of fine mesh you could use instead of paper filters
  • Put the ground coffee in the filter. For filter coffee you use to fine grind. This is fairly coarsely ground coffee. The finer the grind, the faster dissolving the constituents of coffee. Since coffee, put a medium filtering device, has a considerable lead time, use these coarser grain, otherwise the coffee is very bitter. You need 1 tablespoon (7 grams) of ground coffee per cup required. If you like strong coffee, you can also 2 tablespoons (14 grams) per cup to use. Just experiment with this and see what you taste strength like best!

Tip: For the best coffee you yourself first grind the beans

  • Now the coffee can be put. Slide the filter back into place and close the cover (depending on which device you have). Turn the coffee maker and wait to put the coffee. How long it will take depends on how much water you have done in the reservoir. In most cases, this will take about 5 minutes.
  • Turn off the machine. After the device is off you should remove the filter and discard the coffee grounds.
  • Pour the coffee into. You gave the cup basically just black, but you can make it sweeter for example: milk, sugar or cream.

Necessities:

  • Whole coffee beans or ground coffee
  • Coffee grinder (if you want to grind beans)
  • Filtered or bottled water

Tips for the best flavor from your coffee

  • Buy freshly roasted coffee of good quality. You can ground by coffee , but it is much better if you grind the beans just before you use them. The fact is that ground coffee quickly loses its freshness coffee beans.
  • Keep the beans correctly and use the beans preferably within a week.
  • Use a good quality coffee. Do not buy cheap coffee filters, coffee because these filters may eventually affect the taste of the coffee.
  • Use filtered or bottled water. If you use tap water, tap and let in first few seconds walk.
  • Make sure the water is hot enough. The water that you will use ultimately should be between 91 and 97 degrees. Water too hot or it's too cold, is dirty (sometimes bitter) tasting the coffee result.
  • Do not wait too long to pour your coffee. The longer you wait, the less will taste the coffee. If you keep the brewed coffee in a thermos, then drink it within one hour.
  • Keep the appliance. Rinse the pot and filter (if you use a reusable filter) good. Wipe them dry with a clean cloth and then put everything back in the right place. This way you can prevent leftover coffee and coffee oil accumulate, because that you can get coffee tastes increasingly bitter.
